Complete Beginners Flamenco
Always wanted to learn flamenco?
Learn the basics of footwork, arms/hands technique & flamenco choreography with us. Dancing keeps you fit and helps releasing stress. It is the perfect way of disconnecting your mind from everything!
This course is suitable for people with no previous flamenco experience or with very little experience. If you are thinking of joining this course we advice you attend our workshop for complete beginners on Wednesday 15th January, which is a good introduction to the course. If you have missed it don’t worry! You can drop in to our first course session and do a trail before committing to the full course. You can find more details about the beginners intro session here.
All classes are accompanied by live guitar music and held at professional dance studios.

Each term is divided in 2 blocks of payment for those that would like to take advantage of the block booking offer (works out cheaper than dropping in!) . You can also pay as you go, whatever suits you best. We work on a different choreography each term.
Block 1: 5 weeks – first lesson on Wednesday 22nd January, last lesson on Wednesday 19th February .
Block 2: 6 weeks- first lesson on Wednesday 26th February, last lesson on Wednesday 1st April

FAQ
What do I wear for my first lesson?
For information on what to wear to your first lesson please see our FAQ.
Can I try before committing to the full course?
Not sure flamenco is for you? Would you like to give it a go before registering for the full weekly course? We offer one off beginner taster sessions for those willing to give it a go before committing to the full course. The next one is on Wednesday 15th January. If you have missed this workshop you are welcome to pay the drop in fee of £15 on your first lesson to help you decide if you would like to commit for the full course.
Where can I buy flamenco gear?
We have good quality beginners flamenco shoes/boots and skirts for sale at competitive prices. We can bring them to class for you to try on if you decide to join our weekly classes- ask us in advance. Please check with your teacher what type of shoes/skirts are required before buying. We do not recommend buying online without trying on first.
Can I borrow flamenco shoes from you?
We have some second hand shoes/skirts we lend to students on a first come first serve basis. Make sure you arrive early to benefit from borrowing the gear for your lesson, subject to availability. Please notice that if you decide join the course on a regular basis you will have to eventually outsource your own shoes.
See you in class!
