Angela Alonso was born in Almeria, in southern Spain. She was brought up in an environment where music and dance played an important role. Her aunt, Trinidad Garcia, a Flamenco and Ballet Teacher herself, introduced Angela to this art form at the age of four. From that moment until today, Flamenco has become a way of life for her. Since then she has learned from remarkable dancers and choreographers like Manolo Marin and Chiqui de Jerez, and participate in official national and international events and dance festivals (Moscow, Tel-Aviv, Lisbon, Istanbul, Paris, Marrakesh). Angela has been touring worldwide since the early age of 13.

Angela recently starred in a promotional video with English band Keane. She has also been featured by the Times Newspaper in an article about the Spanish Regent Street Festival “A Taste of Spain” that she and the Spanish Tourist Board have successfully organized for the last 3 years. In May this year they have set the new World Guinness Record of Sevillanas Dance, as part of the London Big Dance project lead by Ken Livingstone.
Her school was selected by
BBC's Strictly Come Dancing for teaching eventual winner, Jill Halfpenny. She has also appeared at Sadler’s Wells theatrewith London based Spanish band LaXula as part of “La Linea Festival”.
